Changes

Yesterday one of my partners (who live 5000 miles away) broke up with the other one. All three of us have been having a very rough time lately. I think it remains to be seen how this is going to affect my own life.

I love them both, and hope they can stay friends and have a healthy little-r relationship, and take good care of themselves. And I hope I weather this OK myself. Feel free to send me calming vibes.

I'm really sorry to hear about that. If you need anything during the day, you know where to find me. I'm going to be on campus a little late today if you want to get coffee.

I know that you are going to be fine in the end. You might have some bumpy times ahead of you emotionally, but I am sure that you will weather them with aplomb. If all else fails, you can come to my office and kick and scream in pain. After all, it's used to it by now.
