Too short for a bookend. Too heat-sensitive for a trivet. Insufficiently aerodynamic for a frisbee. Too hard and unyielding, and with too many sharp parts inside for a chew toy. No handle, so it won't work as a paddle.
Maybe if it has some LEDs on it it'll work out as a nightlight.
The theory is that it’s going to become my primary workstation, and my Linux box is going to get turned on to do Linux-specific stuff, access hardware on it, and play Unreal Tournament (unless I can find that for the Mac for cheap). Most of the Unixy things I care about will still work on the Mac.
(It’ll be a little weird having the machine I sit at be a different architecture from aq.org; I think it’s going to feel a bit more like being my own ISP, and my own customer, than it does now. :-)
