+ I ♥ my new snowblower! (Actually, I should say our new snowblower, since I bought it with house funds, but being the sole currently resident homeowner, I was the one who got to be all butch an’ stuff and use it for the first time today.)

− I hate it when I think I’ve left some laundry in the dryer for a few days and discover instead that I’ve left some laundry in the washer for a few days. Oops.

I've been thinking about getting us a snowblower, but Norman's afraid they might be too heavy and hard to use for us out-of-shape deskbound types. Can I pick your brain about yours someday?

Sure! And/or you can borrow it and see how you like it.

The one I got was about $530.00, and it's just about right for our huge driveway. I suspect you and Norman could get away with a smaller one (although one big issue is how deep a snowfall the snowblower can handle; obviously that's going to be the same no matter how much area you're clearing).
