Kevin Sites on mosque shooting

Kevin Sites is the embedded journalist who recently videotaped a Marine killing an injured (and apparently unarmed) person in a mosque. He has a blog (at http://www.kevinsites.net/ and via the kevinsites feed here on LJ). You might be interested in his recent entry in the form of an open letter to the Marine unit involved on that killing, how he came to capture it on video, and how he decided to handle the story and the video after the killing; it’s got more detail and a different perspective than the news reports I’ve read.

Of course, he's now receiving death threats from Bushists, and the right-wing bloggers are bleating that he's helping the enemy by making the video available.
