There are actually a few that are really good for various purposes (though nothing comparable to a good ol' stinky blue, or a wheel of brie), and of course those are nearly impossible to find. The only one that is widely available, predictably, sucks. It's all part of a vast right-wing conspiracy, I'm sure.

I read this book once...well really, it was more of a porn rag...that had some, er, interesting recipes for a certain kind of cheese.

well, i agree -- there are few on my friends list who i wouldn't want to have buy me a really nice piece of cheese -- but then, i'm fond of cheese also.

i think a different (perhaps more practical?) question is, if someone on your friends list was going to bring you a really nice piece of cheese, what kind would of cheese might it be to make you the happiest? :)
