Just because I can...

Posting wirelessly at the Diesel. I predict I’m going to end up spending even more time here. :-)

oooh!

Is it free wireless or one of those crummy T-Mobile pay-as-you-go arrangements?

You have to pay?!? Yikes!!!

The coffee shops around here (few though there are) that have wireless are all free. I hadn't realized that there were places where you had to pay for wireless access. (I was just informed by my husband that Starbucks charges, as does the Austin, TX airport -- $6/day.)

There are enough free wireless cafes in Seattle, that I don't feel the need to patronize places that want to charge me for it. Charging for wireless is like charging for napkins.

Well I didn't find them when I was in Seattle a few months ago. Care to point folks who might go to Seattle someplace that lists them?

I ended up using T-mobile at the Starbucks shops as NONE of the other cafes I encountered in Downtown, Pikes Market, Capital Hill, Queen Anne etc were wired.

Cambridge has NO free hot spots of any kind that I've been able to find.

Bandwidth is it's own reward.

Wireless bandwidth at really cool places is triply rewarding.

Were you posting even while the rest of us socialized, unaware of it all?

Oooooo! [Cue freaky music]
