This morning I called up my mother and had a lovely chat. She’s awesome.

Then I went to see [livejournal.com profile] pheromone’s play, which was a lot of fun. She did an excellent and very professional job, and I had a great time.

Afterwards we had dinner at Namaskar, went over to her place, chatted a while, played some Carcassonne, and then were joined by [livejournal.com profile] spwebdesign and [person whose LJ I don’t know] for a game of Cities and Knights. As usual, [livejournal.com profile] pheromone was behind for the first half of the game (although ahead of me of course), but caught up and won at the end. She always does that.

Oh, and along the way, I picked up a digitally altered photograph of hers I had bought a while back and never gotten around to actually getting, and bought some of her new fused glass work, a plate and a bowl.

I know some really talented people.

Thank you

You're very sweet. :)

(But regarding C&K, I really was sure that D. was gonna win!)

Thing is, I was pretty damned sure I was gonna win, too. When you have 9 points and everyone else is still at 3 or 4, you don't expect your luck suddenly to take a turn for the worse.

BTW, not that he ever updates his LJ, but his LJ username is [livejournal.com profile] briganski.

I don't have any pictures, but next time you're in town, you're welcome to come take a look. :)

(I have some of my stained glass up at http://glass.peace.net )

A phenomenon I have experienced many times at Scrabble. Grrr.
