the dance was so-so, improved for me because a few people who i rarely get to see were still (!) in from out of town (post NEFFA extended trips, apparently), and dancing with them was a blast. and man, that fiddler rocked -- i bought his CD.
but other than that, i'm sad to say it was a pretty lame dance, IMO. :/
I noticed this as well, but have had trouble putting my finger on the problem. I think the band's tempos were too slow and Larry should have brought his bass instead of playing a second guitar.
