A good election story / Diesel tonight

Howdy. First of all, y'all should check out this link, which I think I got from ladytabitha. Especially bitty.

Second of all, I'm probably going to be arriving at the Diesel around 6:30. If anybody feels like saving me a seat at a booth with a power outlet (for CNN-reloading, WBUR-streaming convenience), that would be oh so sweet. (Unless there are power outlets over by the couches, but I don't think there are.)

There is at least one power outlet by the couches but it might currently be out of commission due to the building work they are doing

That is quite possibly the most beautiful thing I've ever heard. All this time, one of the big things about Bush is that he's supposed to be this "man of the simple=normal people." Apparently, normal people think, sometimes, too. We just need to remind them that thinking is not a perogative of a high-powered educational background.
