Maybe I'm going to start a Livejournal

OK, after a year or so as an occasional browser of other people's journals, maybe I'm going to start one of my own. I've always meant to put something together to allow me to do something similar on my own site, but I haven't yet gotten around to it. And even if I did that, it wouldn't let other people comment on what I write.

So I think I'm going to go ahead and start one here and see how it goes. I can always copy-and-paste what I write here back to my own site for archival.

I guess just before I take a two-week vacation to visit my partners in Hawai'i is a good time to start a journal, anyway. :-)
