Another quick update

In case anybody is wondering, I won't be at the Diesel last night tonight.¹

Went contra dancing with Dreaming last night (at the Cambridge VFW), which was wonderful. Wow, the demographics have really changed, even since the last time I was there six months or so ago. There are lots of very young people (high-school age) as well as the 30-75 spread there's always been. And there were lots of people dancing in same-sex couples -- mostly, but not exclusively, women and girls. Anyway, really happy we went, and we got to hang out afterwards and talk over a very late dinner.

Sounds like the gender ratio has changed too. That dance used to be pretty unusual in that there were usually more men than women.
