An interesting perspective on the problems ЖЖ, er, I mean LJ, has been having recently with distributed denial-of-service attacks.

EDIT: I haven’t read much of it yet but at a glance Ethan Zuckerman’s Cute Cat theory of Internet communication looks pretty interesting.
