aq.org net down, apparently

Hi. My house net is down. :-( Unfortunately, I can’t get home until tomorrow night, but my housemate will be home this evening and will try power-cycling the modem. With any luck that will fix it.

(It appears to have gone down briefly this morning, too, and come back up on its own. So there’s some possibility it will fix itself.)

This affects email to me and to other @aq.org addresses. For anything time-critical, send to my GMail account (same account name as this one @gmail.com) and/or send me a text message.

Thanks. I actually have a Linode intended to take over for aq.org as soon as I get the cycles to move it (which means sufficiently disentangling the local stuff that has to stay in my house from the HTTP/IMAP/SMTP/DNS and related stuff).

I might well be interested in putting a box in your server room at some point for backup DNS, though (and maybe secondary MX and actual data backup), if you'd be cool with that. Thanks for the offer!
