She is a truly kick-ass writer. She would also consider things like restaurant work (which she's done before, although not recently) or retail work.

She'd also be glad for odd jobs to help tide her over, if they can be done evenings or weekends and are on public transportation. She wrote, "I can clean your house, do your laundry, babysit, edit your paper, type something for you, walk your dog, pet-sit, do your mending, do web research that you're too busy to do, or anything else within my abilities. I will be frantically searching by day for any agency or employer to put me to work, but my time is available evenings and weekends for odd jobs." (And note that she's a notary public.) She'd also be grateful for recruiter or temp-agency leads.

It's utterly unhelpful, but ye gods do I wish I had the money to pay someone to do any number of those things right now. I'm heading into a period of more work than hours in the day and stupid lack of money keeps me from outsourcing any of them. Much luck to her!

I don't know of an available position, but it sounds like good qualifications for a legal secretary to a top partner, A job which involves almost all of the bulleted skills.

Wow!

Hi from Julianne (your ex tenant) - that is a GREAT set of skills and I like how you two have described them as well.

My thought was that Mare would be perfect to work with an inventor or small team just getting started. Maybe where there are one or two people toiling on some prototype and they need Mare to do EVERYTHING else - and write the manual for it, and help polish up the slide shows for investors, and so on. I have done this job a couple of times myself (without being a notary) and it's very psychically rewarding and one is NEVER bored. (Just make sure to get some hourly cash, not just stock.)

Ssdly, I am only visiting Boston right now, but as I network with people here I will keep her in mind.
