(I borrowed this from nex0s and others. The way it works is that you search for your first name at http://images.google.com/ and post the picture you like best from the first few pages.
I have no idea how to post a picture, but I did a search for 'Ecstasy' and in between all the pills, there was an old picture of me from a MUD site I used to be on eons ago. I was kinda shocked it was still there. LOL!
You can find out the URL to the image, at least in Mozilla or recent versions of Netscape, by right-clicking on it and choosing “View Image” from the pop-up menu, and then seeing what’s in the location field at the top of the window. It should end in an image-type extension like .gif, .jpg or .jpeg, .png, or something like that. Alternatively, you can choose “Copy image location” from the same menu, which will select the image’s URL so that you can paste it somewhere.
I have no idea how you would do the same sorts of things in the Spawn of Satan Internet Explorer, but I presume there are analogous menu entries.
I don't get near as interesting a result, using 'derien.' The first two pictures appear to be textured wallpapers, the third is actually me, and the fourth is a picture I drew (illustration for a story by daegaer.
Didn’t occur to me to try searching for beowabbit. Alas, that only gets me one result: a friend’s LJ icon that doesn’t actually have anything to do with me. I guess I have to start posting pictures of valiant rabbit thanes on the web. :-)
