Yeah, but figuring out exactly where the pilot light was involved some crawling around on the floor with a flashlight that I hadn't been prepared to do earlier. And in any case, there also seems to be a water leak of some sort (like of large-puddle dimensions). So Monsieur le furnace is off again for now.
