I have reassembled my toilet, and it flushes. I have a little leak I have to track down, but I’m pretty sure I can fix that without having to remove the tank again (it’s where the water feeds into the intake valve), and it’s not so bad in the meantime.

Hooray for modern plumbing!

I can almost promise you that this will be the last post about my toilet for a good long time.

Sorry. I didnt realize I wasnt logged in before. Sounds like your making good headway. I'm hoping you checked the gasket's so it prevents pipe leaking. Those are the worst to replace because most people forget them until after they reasemble everything.
