Well, after a night’s sleep and some ice frozen vegetables, my ankle’s feeling much better. It still twinges, but I feel like I can walk almost normally. After a shower I’m going to try the (normally) 15-min walk to the T station. That’ll be the real test.

I hope to show up at Diesel tonight, if I feel up for the extra walking involved.

I'd just started an e-mail to you about that. I've been thinking about you through the night. Very glad to hear it doesn't hurt as much, and that you feel you can try the walk to the T. No hikes in the Fells, though!

Love you and your ankle, sweetie. :-)

I sprained my ankle a couple months back, not too badly. Few days later it felt fine. So I thought, okay, it's better...went for a walk, promptly tripped over the sidewalk and ended up spending two weeks completely unable to walk. It might go better for you, but be careful!

i'm glad it's feeling better. do take it easy, though. ankle sprains can be treacherous, and it's important not to do too much too soon. (i'm not just speaking from my own recent ankle traumas, though of course they're on my mind.)
