Two good pieces of news

Two good pieces of news:

(1) I just spoke to my mother in the hospital and she’s doing a lot better. I could tell the improvement the instant she said “hello”. She finishes her course of IV antibiotics on Wednesday, and expects to be able to go home then.

(2) I got a call this afternoon from my sleep specialist. She’s ordering the CPAP machine for me; evidently the company will bring it to my house. Dunno when that’s happening, but a lot sooner than December. (And she described my sleep apnea as “moderate to severe”; eventually I stop breathing almost twice a minute, but my blood-oxygen levels don’t dip all that much (although they do dip). So! Treatment soon!

Well, I'm glad it won't take until December to get a machine; that semed stupidly long even for the jacked up medical system which currently obtains. Glad you'll be feeling better soon!

Glad to hear that your mother's noticeably better!

And it's great that you don't have to wait until December for your machine. The machines can be a pain, but they're WAY better than not having one! I hope you have a quick adjustment period to yours.

Hugs!

Yay MOM!!! YAY BETTER BREATHING!!

Glad to hear that about your mom. I think she'll recover faster after getting out of the hospital. That environment doesn't always facilitate a speedy recovery, although you're better off there if you need a doctor on hand 24/7.

I don't know why I didn't see this until just now. Yay, so glad you're getting your machine, and that your Mom is doing better. Cheers to health.

It's good that your mum's doing better. That's always nice to hear. I'm a momma's boy at heart so I worry about mine all the time.
