Pride and other stuff
2004-06-11 22:37Very short because Beowabbit tired.
I’m really excited about Poly Boston marching in the Pride parade tomorrow! (Also pleased about the Weekly Dig article on the Boston poly scene. We’ve already gotten a few new subscriptions from that.)
Had an emotionally rough but very useful discussion yesterday. Then some work getting ready for Pride.
Then, in the wee hours of the morning, got email from our fileserver at work. It wrote to tell me it was hot. Very hot. Ambient temperature in our machine room peaked at 47 C, or about 116°F. [Edit: That’s actually temperature within the computer cases, but not right on the chips. Temperature in the open room was 92°F.] My boss was awake too, and got mail, and we both got in touch on line, and he called the Responsible Personages at work. Where, it turned out, nobody could find a key to our machine room, so my boss took a cab in. Whee!
Now, shower and bed.
