Buckling swash

Last night when I got home I found that the third and fourth books in Patrick O’Brian’s Aubrey/Maturin series had arrived. Yay! I’d been reading Master and Commander and Post Captain for so long — I read slowly, and was trying to read them in snippets of spare time — that it feels weird not to have an O’Brian novel with me.

Unlikely to get time to start H.M.S. Surprise in the next few days, though.

And apropos of nothing at all, because it might tickle her to read it here if she’s following LiveJournal at the moment, I just wanted to say that pheromone is awesome.
