beowabbitLast night when I got home I found that the third and fourth books in Patrick O’Brian’s Aubrey/Maturin series had arrived. Yay! I’d been reading Master and Commander and Post Captain for so long — I read slowly, and was trying to read them in snippets of spare time — that it feels weird not to have an O’Brian novel with me.
Unlikely to get time to start H.M.S. Surprise in the next few days, though.
