New old car

So as you know if you read his journal, docorion has found a new old Mercedes, and is selling me his current old Mercedes. Yay! It’s slightly smaller than Mr Toad, and a few years newer ('83 rather than '79, but still old enough to drink), but substantially similar, also a diesel, and also green. However, (1) it doesn’t have the leak that Mr Toad had, so it doesn’t have the musty smell inside, and (2) all the windows and the sunroof work smoothly. Yay! I’m very happy about this.

Now if my insurance agent will just call me back so I can actually get it insured...

Oh, so I’m in the market for another car name. docorion never named this one. I’m considering Kermit, but Kermit is a lighter shade of green. (Other suggestions, whether frog- or color-related, will be cheerfully entertained.)

Too bad Mr Toad in The Wind in the Willows didn’t have a son. Come to think of it, considering Mr Toad’s level of impulse control, I think all we can say is that he didn’t have a son he knew about.

Oh, and I need to starting thinking of a name for his new one *grin* It's white if I remember correctly. So maybe we could get it cute little pink cat ears to attach to the top and then call it Kitty! That way whenever I go out to meet the car in the morning I can say Hello Kitty! *giggle* I'm so bad :P

Oh, alright, no Kitty car. But in consolation I get to dress up as Hello Kitty for Halloween this year :) I see a pilgrimmage to the HK store in my future! After all, docorion will need some fuzzy kitty dice for his rear view mirror. :)
