New sofabed

My new sofabed was just delivered. I’m really happy with it! It has exactly the effects on the room that I’d hoped it would.

Of course, if I have more than one person over now, we’ll really have to snuggle, but that’s OK. The new bed will hold three if they’re friendly [EDIT: um, looking at it, really friendly, but it’s doable by snuggly people], and the old futon wouldn’t quite have held four.

Oh, by the way, does anybody want docorion’s old futon and futon frame? It was one of our couches in the living room of the house in Malden, but it works better as a bed than as a couch. Currently disassembled for easy transportation. :-)

mmmmmaybe. we're giving one to my brother (his first apartment! teehee!) and then still want one to move into the living room after we repaint it, so oddly enough, we might be in the market for a futon. furon shuffling!
what size is it?

The futon itself is 6' by about 4'8". I think that makes it a queen. The frame is about 7' long, with the fold-out shelves that optionally add about 9" on either side. (Where we had it in Malden, we only had space for one of the shelves.) Not sure how tall or how wide when assembled and in couch formation, but you've sat on it, so hopefully the length will be enough to go by.

Okay. Let me juggle with my brother and see if he still wants our small one, and how he's going to get it, and then I'll work stuff out with you.
