A good evening

Well, the last couple months just flew by!¹ cathijosephine and I got together tonight (for yummy Japanese food near our houses) for the first time since the breakup. I was expecting it to go smoothly and comfortably, but it exceeded my expectations. It feels very good (and is a relief) to have taken the first steps down the path of the rest of our friendship.

And the teriyaki chicken was yummy, and the salad was really excellent. I like that place.

¹ I’d proposed a couple months apart, partly because I’d thought it would take me that long to recover. That turned out to be a gross overestimate.
