A short canine vignette

So this evening cathijosephine and I were crossing the street, on the way to the store for an errand. I heard a bark, and it made me look up. Instead of a dog, I saw a motorcycle. Nice black motorcycle, with the rider all in black leather. It sure seemed like that had been where the bark was coming from, but I saw no evidence of a dog, and the guy on the bike looked too dignified to be barking.

But as the bike turned a corner, I saw that on the other side of it was a sidecar — with a fluffy white dog in it! cathijosephine and I both broke out in giggles.

If you can’t have a kitten in your sidecar, I guess this is the next-best thing. :-)

nchanter was very surprised by this concept, and sure, sidecars are uncommon, but if you had a bike with a sidecar, and a dog... who wouldn't ?

I've thought about trying to carpet the tank on my bike and seeing if my cat liked riding.
