Pride was excellent! The weather was perfect, and despite how last-minute everything was, it all fell together. I had a wonderful, wonderful time.

Had a wonderful time that evening, too.

Then Sunday I got to see a whole bunch of excellent people, among them [livejournal.com profile] weegoddess whom I see at the Diesel a lot, but don't often get to hang out in small groups and chat with, and [livejournal.com profile] scholargipsy and [livejournal.com profile] pheromone, the latter gracing this part of the Commonwealth with her presence for a day or two, and who celebrated her return to the Massachusetts Bay by beating [livejournal.com profile] scholargipsy, [livejournal.com profile] sionnagh and me at Cities and Knights of Catan. It was a close game; for the first half or more of the game it looked like [livejournal.com profile] scholargipsy was going to win.

I have many wonderful people in my life, and I am joyful!

Objects (most notably my victory in any game of Catan), are often farther away than they appear.

Agreed. And you're one of 'em, baby!

I think I saw you there, B. Were you wearing a shirt that said something like "Expand your family"? It must have been you. :) And then later that day we came across the article in "In Newsweekly." You were haunting me on Saturday. :)

I was the one lurking under the tree at the first curve. I'm sure you saw me, right? ;)

Are you sure it was In and not the Weekly Dig? I know I was quoted (and photographed) in the Dig, but it's news to me if I was in In.

Nope, not at all. It probably was the Weekly Dig...we were reading them both at Espresso Royale that morning...

Oh! Why, yes -- you must have been the one in the stroller with the cute little T-shirt that said "I love both my mommies"; it's a wonder I didn't recognize you from your LiveJournal userpic!

Ha. :) Ok, I'll get a better user pic up soon.

I had a great time Sunday, though I get the idea that we'd have an *awful* lot more to talk about if we were in an even smaller group! (as in N=2). Felt like I did more talking than I would normally do. Not a problem but would have enjoyed hearing more about your antics...

tee hee
