A new tearoom in JP

beowabbitMet my friend Jucika-Mauserl this afternoon. It was great to see her; it had been a while, and we had a lot of catching up to do.
We went to a new tearoom in JP called Cha-Fahn, which was excellent! I had cherry-flavoured green tea, and Jucika-Mauserl had a jasmine-lemongrass herbal tea. I had a ham and gruyere sandwich, and she had tea sandwiches with goat cheese, apricot preserves, mint, and ginger that were excellent (I stole a bite). Then we finished with sesame buns (kind of like steamed red-bean buns, but filled with a sesame paste). The whole experience was delightful. The décor was pleasant, the staff was friendly and attentive but relaxed, the furniture, well, you have to see it... And of course the company was delightful!
