Coincidentally, I wandered into Newbury Comics yesterday and the first item I saw was the Donnie Darko DVD, prominently on sale for $12. I picked it up since it's one of the few movies I'd like to have on hand to lend out.
I love DD's soundtrack, both incidental music and the seminal '80s hits it uses -- almost every song tugs my memory in a very poignant way. It's a pity the published soundtrack only has one pop song, the cover of Tears For Fears' "Mad World" by Gary Jules (which is excellent, don't get me wrong).
