I love my sweetie, and I love writing about her! I confess I had quite a bit of trouble with some of these questions, but here goes...
1. They are watching TV. What are they watching?
If this means actual broadcast or cable TV, then either Barack Obama’s acceptance speech in Denver at a bar in East Somerville tomorrow, or election returns on election night, or news of some major event like 9/11. She’s not a TV-watcher.
If this means looking at moving pictures on a TV set, then a movie on DVD.
If this means “video”, then most likely something funny on YouTube, with a political speech on YouTube a close second overall (but maybe first during election season).
2. You're out to eat. What kind of dressing do they get on their salad?
She must have eaten a salad in my presence, but I don’t remember what she got on it if so. If I had to guess I’d guess ranch or French, but those are only guesses.
3. What's one food this person doesn't like? What's one food this person could not live without?
She doesn’t like bleu cheese. See my comment to the “dressing” question when she posted this meme. She also doesn’t like most seafood.
As for a food she couldn’t live without, I’m not sure I can think of one. There are plenty of things she likes a lot, and plenty of things she eats a lot, but she likes variety, so there’s no one thing that really stands out as absolutely indispensable. I think she would probably be pretty unhappy without garlic, and I think she would probably be pretty unhappy without cheese.
4. You go out to the bar. He/she orders...
A glass of Shiraz, or a Jack and coke.
5. What size shoe do they wear?
We were just in a shoe store this weekend, and I am evidently less observant than she is. I could tell if I were back in the store, because I could go to the rack where the shoes she got were.
6. If this person were to collect anything, it would be...
Well, she’s not so much a things person. The one traditionally collectible thing she has a lot of is stuffed animals. She also has a lot of mementos of important times in her life, but they’re no one particular thing: a photo, a stuffed animal, a framed icon of Mary and baby Jesus from a trip to Romania, Mardi Gras beads.
I think I’ll borrow from her description of me and say that she doesn’t so much collect things as moments.
I hope she collects love, because I’ve got an awful lot of it to give her.
7. What is their favorite type of sandwich?
Arby’s roast beef. Although maybe some of that is the desperation of withdrawal.
8. This person could eat ______ everyday.
See my answer to question 3. I think she needs variety and I don’t think there’s any one thing she could eat every day without eventually getting sick of it. But she could probably eat egg foo young every week, at least.
9. Favorite cereal?
Butterscotch muffins from the chi-chi White Hen down the street. :-)
10. This person wouldn't be caught dead wearing?
Preppy clothes, except ironically or as a costume.
11. Favorite sports team?
None, but I think she’s spent enough time around rabid fans (like
surrealestate, although she’s really a Mets fan) to express a grudging admiration at a distance for the Red Sox.
12. Who will he/she vote for?
Well, since John McCain isn’t nearly a reliable enough conservative for her, she’s probably going to write in Mike Huckabee or pull the lever for Bob Barr.

13. What is their sign?
I dunno, whatever’s in late December.
(Well, if I cheat and look at her userinfo, then Capricorn.)
16. How many states has this person lived in?
Three as far as I know, although I have this vague feeling that there may also have been a brief period somewhere in the South as a small child.
17. What is his/her heritage?
Half Jewish, on her father’s side. I think that’s Russian Jewish, but don’t quote me on that. On her mother’s side, I think German and Scottish, but I’m not quite sure about that.
18. You bake them a cake for their birthday. What kind do you bake?
I’d have to ask. I’d suggest pineapple upside-down cake, but I don’t know whether she likes it.
19. The CD I would probably find in their vehicle is...
Since her vehicle is a subway car, whatever is in the portable CD player of the guy in the seat across the car who’s bopping silently to the music playing through his earphones. But I believe she likes female vocalists in the Ani DiFranco mold. It’s kind of weird, though — I haven’t actually heard much of her music, so I’m mostly basing this on stuff she’s told me in passing, and on what I know she used to sing.
20. What can you do that will guarantee a laugh from him/her?
Texting her lovenotes in LOLcat will definitely get a big grin from her.
21. Does he/she get along well with their family?
Yes, in general, with occasional stresses. She didn’t get along with her father when he was alive, though. (Neither did I with mine, really, either.)
22. If money wasn't an option, I would buy him/her...
As I said above, and as she said about me, she’s not so much a things person. I think I would buy her either a long exciting luxurious trip someplace she’s never been and wants to go, or something practical with a long-term effect on her life like a nice condo.
