OK, this is not really going to be entertaining to anybody but me, but I picked up a box of juice off the shelf at a Store 24 near my house on the way home tonight, and noticed that it had another language on the other side. And I noticed it was in Cyrillic. And I noticed it was not Russian, but Bulgarian. Not a language I’m used to seeing in a random convenience store.

A box of juice I got in a Store 24 near my house
The Bulgarian-language side of a box of juice I got at the Store 24 on Main Street in Everett, 2004.09.08. The English side read "Tangerine, Carrot, Lemon, and Apple Premium Juice". I turned it around, noticed that it had another language on the other side, was surprised to notice that it was in Cyrillic, and then was even more suprised to see that it was in Bulgarian. That's not a language I'm used to reading on things in a Store 24! |
