Interesting. I like Gaiman’s writing style a bit more than Pratchett’s, but they’re so different it’s hard to compare them that way. (It’s like saying “I like strawberry a bit more than violin.”) I definitely like Gaiman’s storytelling more than Pratchett’s — I read Pratchett more for the turns of phrase (and since I care a lot about turns of phrase, that’s no small praise) and the jokes than for the plot or the capital-I Ideas.
