They’ve recently been radically reduced. You have to get loads of paperwork done well in advance (I think 120 days) and have the dog microchipped and of course give him/her all the shots, and then you get something they’re calling five-day quarantine but which I gather can be less. This is extremely new, though, and it’s not yet clear how it’s all going to be applied in practice.
