Most of us developers already use Firebug and Developer Toolbar. What does Aardvark add that these other tools don't already? Just wondering.

I have no idea; probably nothing. I’m not a remotely serious web developer, and I’ve never used Firebug or Developer Toolbar. I mentioned that because it was in the Aardvark description and because I could imagine it as a quicker and easier way of finding out id names and general page structure if I wanted to tweak CSS for a page than looking at the source.
