So last night was closing night of Tomes of Terror III, and it was just a wonderful experience for me getting back on stage for the first time in over twenty years. The play I was in, a loose adaptation of Poe’s “The Tell-Tale Heart”, was directed by first-time director [livejournal.com profile] big_jewfro, who did a wonderful job and was a delight to work with. And [livejournal.com profile] plumtreeblossom did foley (live sound effects) for that play as well as one of the two others in the show, so I got to work with her again (and everybody else in the green room was in desperate need of insulin). And it was great working with [livejournal.com profile] lediva, my unfortunate onstage victim. And since every night was sold out, about 320 people in the greater Boston area now associate my voice with extreme creepiness. :-)

Strike was easy and quick and the cast party (at [livejournal.com profile] big_jewfro and [livejournal.com profile] lediva’s place) was lots of fun, although I was a bit tired for it. [livejournal.com profile] ayelle’s trifle was especially yummy!

The one bad thing is that there was a cold floating around the green room, and I seem to have picked it up. It’s not too bad so far, and I expect to get to bed early tonight and hopefully that will be enough to keep it from taking hold.
