Thanks. Since I (1) have spaceheaters sufficient to heat the rooms I use (not even all that inefficiently, even), and (2) have a nice toasty bed to sleep in even without heating my bedroom, I'm not so worried about that. The car is a bigger deal at the moment. I'm pretty sure it's actually the fuel filter. And I was delighted to find a replacement fuel filter in the trunk. I was somewhat less delighted, on prying it out of the frozen box it was in, to find ice on the inside of it. I'm debating just letting it dry out really thoroughly and seeing if I can find someplace I can get to on the T to get another one.
