Birthday wishes (and short update)

Happy birthday to the wonderful majes!

And I am sorry I have been remiss with birthday wishes lately. Happy belated birthday to woodwardiocom, and apologies to everybody whom I’ve missed.

I have been sick the past few days. :-( Not quite sure what it is; it feels intermediate between a cold and the flu. I’m definitely on the mend (Thursday was the worst day, and I stayed home from work and had to cancel the Poly Boston gathering I was supposed to be hosting that night), but not all better. Today I’m taking it very easy and hoping to be well enough to be good company when I see plumtreeblossom tonight. I’ll probably be fine by Monday.
