No time to catch up since I’m getting ready for a large group dinner at my house, but my awesome brother-in-law spacechicken just posted [EDIT: New! Improved! Now unlocked!] about a drive-in in Durham, NC, where you can buy guns and ammo as well as breaded mushrooms. Now that’s a well-stocked snack bar!

I unlocked it. The locked setting is just my default, just call me paranoid. Everyone should know about the Starlite! Evidently the place has been there for over 40 years. It burned down in 2004, the owner is in the process of restoring it and hopefully soon the garish neon sign that announced it to you as you approached will be back on.

Jay we will defintely go there on your next visit. It almost doesn't matter what the movie is, the drive-in makes all movies better!

There’s also a drive in up here, on the New Hampshire/Massachusetts border — the screen is in Massachusetts; most of the spaces are in New Hampshire, and I don’t want to think about what their taxes look like. :-) I’ve only been there once, but I hope to go back.
